Buying guide

How to choose a PEMF mat

Every Livewell Restore PEMF mat is a full-body system designed by a physician for daily use at home. The five mats share the same foundation: pulsed electromagnetic field coils adjustable to 150 µT, far infrared warmth through a natural gemstone layer, and filtration and shielding to keep stray EMF low. What changes as you move up the range is coverage, light and mineral composition.

PEMF coils and intensity

Coils determine how evenly the field covers your body. The Core, Kinetic and Resonance use six coils; the Synergy and Zenith use eight for denser coverage. All five reach 150 µT. In our experience coverage matters more day to day than a higher peak number.

Red light

660 nm red light works at the skin while PEMF and infrared work beneath it. The Core is a pure PEMF and infrared mat. The Resonance adds 36 LEDs, the Kinetic 48, the Zenith 117 and the Synergy 144. If red light is a priority, this is the row to compare.

Gemstones and negative ions

Amethyst and obsidian form the base on every mat. The Kinetic adds tourmaline, the Synergy jade and clay, the Zenith seven stones and the Resonance ten. Synergy and Zenith also include negative ion therapy.

Where to start

Core for an everyday foundation at $899. Kinetic or Resonance for red light and gemstones in the mid range. Synergy for the densest red light array. Zenith as the flagship, or Protocol II if you want it paired with the Livewell 1500 panel from day one.

Livewell mats are wellness devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Consult a physician if you are pregnant, have an implanted electronic device or a serious medical condition.

Questions

What is a PEMF mat and how does it work?

A PEMF mat contains copper coils that emit low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic fields while you lie on it. Livewell mats layer this with far infrared warmth, natural gemstones and, on most models, 660 nm red light, so a single 20 to 30 minute session delivers several wellness technologies at once.

How many PEMF coils should a full-body mat have?

Coil count determines coverage. Six coils cover a full-body mat evenly; eight coils, as on the Synergy and Zenith, give denser coverage across the torso and legs. More coils matter more than a marginally higher intensity number.

Does a PEMF mat need red light?

No, but it is the feature that separates a basic infrared mat from a complete recovery system. Red light at 660 nm works at the skin surface while PEMF and far infrared work beneath it. The Core is PEMF and infrared only; every other Livewell mat adds red light, from 36 LEDs on the Resonance to 144 on the Synergy.

What size PEMF mat do I need?

All five Livewell mats are full-body, 72.8 to 74.8 inches long, so a 6-foot-plus adult lies fully on the mat. If you want head-to-toe coverage without repositioning, avoid compact or half-body mats.

How often can I use a PEMF mat?

Daily. Most clients use 20 to 30 minutes after training, before sleep or as a midday reset. Consistency matters more than intensity. Anyone with an implanted electronic device, who is pregnant or who has a serious medical condition should consult a physician first.

Which Livewell mat should I start with?

Core for everyday recovery on a foundation budget. Kinetic or Resonance if you want red light and gemstones. Synergy for dense PEMF and 144 LEDs. Zenith if you want the flagship, or the Fountain of Youth Protocol II, which pairs it with the Livewell 1500 red light panel.

What do Livewell PEMF mats cost and what is included?

Mats range from $899 for the Core to $2,200 for the Zenith. Each includes the mat, controller and power adapter, and user guide. Orders of $2,000 or more ship free within the US, from Michigan, with 30-day returns and a 1-year warranty. Shop Pay Installments are available at checkout.
